Allen Gardiner, MAI, SRA
Allen Gardiner is an owner in Gardiner Ray, LLC, a leading appraisal and real estate consulting firm in the Dallas/ Frisco & Fort Worth/ Fort Worth area. Gardiner Ray, LLC offers residential and commercial appraisal services and was founded in 2016. Prior to venturing in his own appraisal service company, Allen was the Vice President of Residential for one of the larger appraisal and consulting firms in the North Texas area and began his career in 1992.
Allen currently holds the MAI and SRA designations with the Appraisal Institute, the leading professional real estate appraiser organization. Allen has been involved on a local, regional, and national basis with the Appraisal Institute. He has served as President of the North Texas Chapter of Appraisal Institute, as well as a Regional Representative and previously resided as the national Chair of the Residential Advisory Committee for the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of the Texas Plains Chapter. Allen has been honored with two local chapter Appraisal Institute awards, the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2019 and the Lifetime Service Award in 2023. In 2017, Allen was honored with a national award known as the Volunteer of Distinction. Currently Allen sits as National Board of Director with the Appraisal Institute.
Allen is a member of RAC, an organization devoted to residential relocation and complex assignments. He has served as a prior national board of director and President in 2022 for RAC. Allen has also served as a representative with FACT (Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas). He has served with FACT (Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas) as a committee member in the initial efforts of submitting potential legislation for AMCs in Texas.
Allen received his BBA in Finance and Economics from Texas Tech University in 1991 and has been a strong supporter of Texas Tech University in its academic and athletic achievements.
Allen and his wife, Leslie, have two children, Hagen and Haylie, and reside in Frisco, Texas. The family is a member of St. Andrew Methodist Church in Plano, Texas, and is involved in numerous civic organizations in the DFW area. Allen has served Dallas Bethlehem Center, a South-Dallas not-for-profit daycare, as a Board Member and President as well as served as a Board Member for the Frisco Football League, a not-for-profit youth recreational football league in Texas.

David Ray is an owner in Gardiner Ray, LLC, a leading appraisal and real estate consulting firm in the Dallas/ Frisco & Fort Worth/ Fort Worth area. Gardiner Ray, LLC offers residential and commercial appraisal services and was founded in 2016. David has been involved in numerous appraisal and consulting assignments since beginning is career in 2004 in the North Texas area.
David currently holds the SRA designation with the Appraisal Institute, the leading professional real estate appraiser organization. He is involved on a local basis with the Appraisal Institute. David is currently serving as the Past President, Regional Representitive, and Chair of the Nominating Committee of the North Texas Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He has served two different terms as a member of the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee of the North Texas Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He has been an alternate committee member FACT (Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas). David is also a member of the Texas Plains Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
David also is a member of RAC, an organization devoted to residential relocation and complex assignments. David regularly attends the RAC national conferences and is an involved member.
David and his wife, Kim, have two children, Cade and Ryann, and have resided in Frisco, Texas for the past ten years. The Ray family spends it’s time watching their kids in numerous sports and music lessons. They are also involved in various charities in the Frisco and North Texas area.
David received his BBA in Finance from The University of North Texas in 2005.

John started his appraising career in 1998. He studied at UNT and has taken numerous classes and seminars through the Appraisal Institute, CCCC, and other education providers. John maintains his state license with the State of Texas. John’s primary focus is on residential property and vacant land in North Texas.
John has been married to his beautiful wife, Shelly, for 15 years and they have two wonderful daughters. In his free time, you can usually find John at one of his daughters’ sporting events.
Amber Marvin
Amber Marvin is a Certified Residential Appraiser with the State of Texas and is pursuing her requirements to gain her SRA designation with the Appraisal Institute. She has been involved in multiple aspects of real estate for over ten years as an Office Manager and Research Associate for both commercial and residential appraisal firms. Amber lives in eastern Collin County and enjoys valuing the quickly expanding areas east of the DFW Metroplex. Amber and her husband have two daughters. Her family loves animals and they volunteer as a foster for a local dog rescue.
Craig Ray
Craig Ray is a Certified Residential Appraiser with the state of Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University in 2004 and has owned his homebuilding / commercial construction company for over a decade. Craig and his wife Courtney have resided in Lubbock for the past 18 years. The family attends Holy Spirit Catholic Church and is involved in numerous activities in the Lubbock area.
Davis Clapp
Davis Clapp is a Certified Residential Appraiser with the State of Texas. Davis has been involved in Real Estate for over the past four years working as an appraiser and appraiser trainee in both the DFW and West Texas/ Panhandle area. Davis is a graduate from Texas Tech University with his BBA in Finance a CRE certificate.
Jack Andrews
Jack Andrews is currently working towards his General Appraisal Certification through the Appraisal Institute. Jack has been exposed to different angles of the real estate world through his time spent doing internships at a farm & ranch brokerage firm, as well as an appraisal firm. Jack recently graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics: Finance & Real Estate. In Jack’s off time, he enjoys going hunting & fishing with his friends and family.
